Once like brothers, the two eventually fell out over the pronunciation of ERG, with Jimmy insisting it is E.R.G., while John says its simply urgh. While they no longer speak, rumor has it that they routinely call each other's mobile numbers and yell their pronunciation into the phone and hang up. A reunion tour, long dreamed of by fans, is highly unlikely. Urgh. I mean E.R.G.

Around ten years ago, before MUNDIAL, I interviewed Gianluca at his house in Chelsea for an unmemorable sponsorship activation. What I do remember is that his furniture was both immaculate and enviable, a real study in how a front room should look, and the hour I spent chatting with him pre and post the shoot. He got the espressos in, was both humble and charming with everyone on set, and the way his eyes danced and mouth turned half-smile left a lasting impression.
